Attorney, Employment Law, Discrimination, Retaliation & Wrongful Termination

Karen Bowen Lynch has been practicing law since 2000 in the areas of civil litigation, employment law, business law, and energy law. She focuses primarily on employment matters, including wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, discrimination, and harassment, and on advising employers on the ever-changing landscape of California employment law. She also drafts and analyzes employment contracts, severance agreements, confidentiality agreements, and employee handbooks.

Karen was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and moved to southern California to attend UCLA, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. After working in television marketing and production, she attended law school at the University of Notre Dame. Karen was an editor of the Notre Dame Law Review, spent a year studying abroad in London, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in the top 10% of her class. Karen started her legal career at the worldwide firm White & Case in its Los Angeles and San Francisco offices, but is now enjoying a smaller office environment where she can foster close relationships with her clients and be a strong advocate for their needs.
