DID YOU KNOW?

  1. Minimum Wage Increase

The minimum wage increases on January 1, 2024 to $16/hour (and most exempt employees must be paid at least $66,560 to qualify as exempt).

  1. Criminal History

Effective October 1, 2023, changes have been made to how employers may consider criminal history in job applications. This is complicated. Ask us.

  1. Drug Testing

Effective January 1, 2024, employers may no longer drug test for cannabis. Again, this is complicated. Ask us.

  1. Time Rounding

Rounding time worked is not allowed. Be careful how your timekeeping system is set up.
